Types of eels, protection of urban eels

They are the longfin, shortfin and the Australasian longfin.

They are very important to the food chain cause if they aren't there then the food chain will be broken. Most fish will die with no food for any animal living in the sea. The tuna are getting treated poorly by all of us with pollution and oil from cars going down the drain and it's affecting the eels.

We are able to stop it by making posters and putting a little effect we can make a huge difference to the water some eels can climb walls.

What I Know about Matariki

Matariki is a Māori holiday that comes every late May  or early June.  Matariki is a star cluster, not a constellation.When seen from Earth, the stars in a constellation appear to be close together in a pattern, but they might actually be far from each other. There are about 500 stars in the Matariki cluster, but only six or seven are visible without a telescope.

Matariki has nine stars, but people still think it has seven

Maramataka

The Maramataka is a  a lunar calendar. It is a calendar based on the monthly cycles of the moon's phases, in contrast to solar calendars, whose annual cycles are based only directly on the solar year. The calendar is so helpful it tells you if it is good to go fishing, planting, going out or staying in. 

Orienteering

I have completed 2 hours of orienteering for an put door pursuit on Friday 12 June at Rāwhiti Domain. There was 18 markers and we were in teams. I was by my self because Blake went home sick. I really enjoyed the course however found it hard to find all the markers.

I have learnt many skills including,  mapping. compass contours orienteering rules.  

Maths now

During lockdown maths was weird and hard we had to do it on line now since we are not in lockdown it is still weird .

Reading

On the weekend Blake and Dom came to my house and then we went to a bike track and we were there for 1 hour to 1.30 and we went to a dairy and got some chips and some lollies then we went back to Dom's house and played on his PSX3. We played GTA and we were doing missions .
